Cedar Children’s Academy “inspire pupils to be their best selves” says Ofsted

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills, which inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Ofsted Reports

We are pleased to share with you the outcome and report from our ungraded Ofsted inspection which took place on 8th and 9th October 2024.
The report recongised that the school has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection, meaning we continue to be a 'Good' school.*

This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of parents and our amazing pupils. We are immensely proud of our pupils and it was a pleasure to show the Ofsted team what we do every day.

School financial benchmark service

"Pupils are happy to be part of this aspirational and caring school. They proudly contribute to the wider school community. [...] Adults are excellent role models and inspire pupils to be their best selves. Pupils strive to live up to the school’s high aspirations.”- Ofsted, 2024

Until September 2024, on a graded (section 5) inspection we gave schools an overall effectiveness grade, in addition to the key and provision judgements. Overall effectiveness grades given before September 2024 will continue to be visible on school inspection reports and on Ofsteds website. From September 2024 graded inspections will not include an overall effectiveness grade.

Cedar Children's Academy was, before September 2024, judged to be good for its overall effectiveness.
Ofsted have now inspected the school to determine whether it has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at that previous inspection. This is called an ungraded inspection, and it is carried out under section 8 of the Education Act 2005. Following this inspection, the school was to have taken effective action to maintain its high standards.
